Pieces from the shop.

Bowls, urns, kitchen tools, and the occasional epoxy experiment. If you see something you want, or you want me to make something, ask.

Urns

Hand-turned urns, often with epoxy-filled cracks and a turned finial to close the opening. The ash urn here started as a rough-turned blank with cracks too deep to ignore — I made a mold, pressure-cast blue-tinted epoxy, then hollowed it on the lathe.

Decorative Bowls

The largest category — buckthorn, spectraply, colored-pencil epoxy, pinecone epoxy, natural-edge mulberry, segmented maple-cherry-walnut. The orange-red epoxy bowl shown here uses root-wood fragments suspended in a fiery resin pour. Root-ball bowls and one-off pieces also live here.

Platters & Trays

Walnut, hickory, cherry, maple, paduk — laid out solid or as inlaid cheese-and-cracker trays. The walnut platter here was hand-rubbed to a satin finish. Cherry burl with turquoise inlays available on commission.

Kitchen Tools

Pizza cutters, coffee scoops, honey dippers, measuring spoons and cups with removable handles, cheese-plane handles, spurtles, mixing paddles. Alligator juniper, paduk, zebrawood, cherry — whatever the piece wants.

Restoration Work

Furniture refinishing and rebuild work. The rocking chair below was a chew toy — I turned the missing spindles, took it apart, sanded everything, glued it back together, and sprayed a new finish. Custom builds, too: the Shadow Table required steam-bent walnut for the skirt.

Peppermills & Salt Grinders

Traditional hardwood, spectraply (premium dyed birch laminate), and epoxy pours — all with quality grinding mechanisms inside. Specify wood, color, and height.

No standing inventory online. If you'd like a peppermill or salt grinder — traditional hardwood, spectraply, or an epoxy pour — tell me the style and finish you're after. I'll quote the piece.

Cutting & Cheese Boards

Solid and laminated boards in walnut, cherry, maple, and paduk. Sizes and woods on request.

Cutting and cheese boards are commission-only. Tell me the dimensions you want and a wood you like, and I'll quote it.

Bottle Stoppers

Banksia pods, captive-ring bottle stoppers, colored-pencil epoxy, balloon spectraply, laminated hardwoods. Endless shapes — pick a style.

Bottle stoppers are made on commission. Let me know whether you want banksia, spectraply, captive-ring, or laminated hardwood — and I'll send a photo of options.

Decorative

Lidded boxes, oil lamps, lighthouses, jewelry holders, purpleheart vases, mulberry hollow forms with ash finials, dream catchers, bookends, napkin rings, the Tree of Life. The catch-all for pieces that don't fit anywhere else.

Decorative one-offs — lidded boxes, oil lamps, lighthouses, vases, bookends. Send a picture or a description and I'll tell you what I can do.

Fun Things

Decorative bird houses, beer-tap handles, baseball bats from a grandfather's bring-your-own blank.

If it's turned and it's fun, I'll probably make it. Beer tap, baseball bat, bird house — tell me what you're imagining.

Kaleidoscopes

Turned wooden kaleidoscopes with internal mirror geometry and stained-glass ends.

Kaleidoscopes are made to order — wood, length, and color theme are all your call. Ask me about a build.

Ornaments

Balloon ornaments, captive-ring finials, and hollow-form pieces — turned, hollowed, and finished.

Ornaments are made on request, often in small batches. Tell me the style you want and how many.

Don't see what you want? I take commissions.

Send me a picture or a description. I'll tell you what I can do and what it'll cost.
